Hi and welcome to my Blog.

In this space I’ll be exploring different aspects, influences and inspiration for my writing. I’ll dig a little deeper into some of the historical texts I have used; books in which I found the detail and context that forms the framework for my story to take place within.

I’ll discuss and provide links to some of the excellent documentary videos I came across in my research, some of which I discovered deeply embedded on my journey down the YouTube rabbit-hole.

There are many great writers of historical fiction whose definitive works have been an inspiration to me. Here in my Blog, I’ll highlight a few of these along with a call out to my favourite movies that are set against WW1.

And, of course, I’ll talk about my writing process too.
